Chelsea has been working as a volunteer intern at the Barnes Foundation Archives in Merion since November 2013, helping the archivists with a variety of tasks from photocopying, scanning, pulling and re-filing records for researchers to cataloguing and data clean-up in the collections management database. Assigned her own project, an accession of photographs to the education department’s records, she completed the arrangement and cataloguing, and is currently writing a finding aid for the collection.
Chelsea holds a BA in Art History from Arcadia University and, this past spring, graduated with a MLIS, concentration in Archival Studies, from Drexel University. Then, she joined DVAG! Please say “hello” to Chelsea when you see her at the next DVAG confab.
