AMP 2018 – Drinks in the Archives

Posted on behalf of Celia Caust-Ellenbogen

On October 10, more than a dozen local history institutions converged at the Free Library of Philadelphia for an archives fair about the history of drinks: from medicinals and tonics, to tea and coffee, beer and wine, the temperance movement, and more. Attendees enjoyed sample beverages, played games, examined menus, and of course, perused archival documents. A refreshingly good time was enjoyed by all!

Attendees gathered and mingling in the atrium of the Free Library of Philadelphia.
