Next meeting 9/21 at the Kislak Center, UPenn

As summer turns to fall, please join us for the next DVAG general meeting on Wednesday, September 21st!

Where: Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Books, and Manuscripts, Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center at the University of Pennsylvania (3420 Walnut Street).

When: 3:30-5:30 pm (approximate)

***Please note that photo ID is required for entry to the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center. Attendees are encouraged to allow themselves a little extra time to have their IDs checked and sign in***

Our meeting topic is records management, with a fantastic panel of speakers exploring a wide range of issues, from the similarities and differences between archives and records management to initiating and creating buy-in for records management programs.

Speakers:

Donald F. Cornelius, New Jersey State Archives

Krista Oldham, Haverford College

Christopher Michael, Paragon Solutions and ARMA Liberty Bell Chapter  

Following the panel, attendees are invited join the Kislak Center staff for a special look at some of the treasures of their collection. Many thanks to Holly Mengel, Betsy Bates, and the entire Kislak team for hosting. (And yes, refreshments will be served!)
