2016 Treasurer’s Report

As always, DVAG is invested in transparency and to that end we present our treasurer’s report, representing our finances at the end of 2016.

This year we increased our SAA Annual Meeting Travel Grant to support not one, but two local archivists attending the conference. We continued to hold funds for PhillyDH to support THATCamp Philly, and we funded Archivists Being Awesome and Archives Month Philly programming, both of which operate under the DVAG umbrella. We also co-sponsored parts of workshops organized by MARAC (TurDuckEn: Codecs Inside Wrappers Inside Archives, An Introduction to Digital Files Workshop) and the Mid-Atlantic ArchivesSpace Interest Group (ArchivesSpace Beyond the Basics Skill Share).
