Our meeting on Wednesday, September 21st at the Kislak Center at the University of Pennsylvania began with a few announcements — most importantly, the election results!
Your new Vice-Chair/Chair Elect is Ken Cleary.
Your new Communications Manager is Jasmine Clark.
Your new Membership Coordinator is Shaun Kirkpatrick.
Ken’s term begins immediately (for reasons discussed previously). Jasmine and Shaun’s terms begin in January 2017. Welcome and congratulations to all of our new Planning Committee members!
Other announcements:
- The next Archivists Being Awesome meeting will be held on Thursday, November 10th at the Heritage Center of the Union League of Philadelphia. Philadelphia interns will be discussing some of the work they’ve done in local archives.
- Archives Month is almost upon us! Check out the great calendar of events this year and start thinking about how your institution can participate in 2017. https://archivesmonthphilly.com/
- The next DVAG meeting will be in early December, and will be a holiday party/potluck. More announcements about this to come.
